Man's body recovered after car enters Red Lake River in Crookston

(Fargo, ND) -- The Polk County Sheriff's Department has announced the name of a man who was found dead after driving his car off a bridge in Crookston and into the Red Lake River.

A witness told police they saw the car enter the water around 2:20 Friday morning.

Police had responded to a report of a crash near the intersection of Houston Avenue and South Broadway.

The vehicle left the roadway near the north end of the Red Lake River Bridge.

The driver and sole occupant of the 2010 Chevy Impala is identified as 26-year-old Crookston resident William Mark Tuseth.

The sheriff says foul play is not suspected.

The incident remains under investigation.
