(Wahpeton, ND) -- A Wahpeton woman has died two days after being hit by a vehicle while walking in Wahpeton.
Bailey Bernstein was hit on Thursday and passed away on Saturday.
The State Highway Patrol says Bernstein and another woman were walking along the shoulder of 11th Avenue South when she was hit by a pickup truck driven by Chad Olson from Wahpeton.
Olson fled the scene but was later arrested after police got a tip.
