(Bismarck, ND) -- The weekly U.S. Drought Monitor continues to show improvement in conditions in North Dakota.
About 18-percent of the state is experiencing abnormally dry conditions especially in the southeast.
Along the northern tier there is severe drought in parts of 12 counties and moderate drought has been measured in a swath from northwest to east-central North Dakota.
