(Bismarck, ND) -- The man replacing the late Senator Doug Larsen has been sworn into office.
Justin Gerhardt took the oath of office during the Legislature's special session yesterday.
He was appointed by the District 34 Republicans to replace Larsen following his death in a plane crash in Utah that also claimed the lives of Larsen's wife and two young sons.
The District 34 seat is on the ballot in 2024.
