(Bismarck, ND) -- The upcoming holiday season means more police patrols on the roads in an effort to reduce crashes and deaths.
Police agencies will begin the Click It or Ticket campaign on Wednesday.
It will run through December 14th.
More than half of the victims killed in crashes so far this year were not wearing seatbelts.
As of August, not wearing a seatbelt is a primary offense in North Dakota and can be the sole reason police pull a vehicle over.
