Minnesota Supreme Court to hear oral arguments this week on Trump's ability to appear on state ballot

(St. Paul, MN) -- The Minnesota Supreme Court will hear oral arguments this week in a case that could determine if Former President Donald Trump will be allowed on the state's presidential ballot.

The Justices will be asked to determine if Trump's actions to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election led to an insurrection that disqualifies from running for public office. The Republican Party of Minnesota is asking the court to dismiss the case on First Amendment grounds. 

The cases is scheduled to be heard on Thursday.
