Fort Yates Superintendent arrested and charged in Bismarck domestic dispute

(Bismarck, ND) -- A Fort Yates school superintendent has been arrested for Domestic Violence in Bismarck.

Police were called to a home after Kimberly Whitebull reported she had been thrown around by her boyfriend. Whitebull and her boyfriend were fighting over a phone charging cord, and police say she whipped him with the cord several times before she was pushed off a bed and then called 9-1-1. Police say her boyfriend had raised welts and blood on his shoulders when they examined him.

Whitebull was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
