Marshall County woman says horse was shot in pasture late Wednesday night

(Fargo, ND) -- A woman in Marshall County, Minnesota says her horse was shot Wednesday night.

She says it happened just before 11:30 in her family's horse pasture near Gatzke.

Alyssa Aune says she found the horse Thursday morning with his "front leg shot off."

She says the horse named Parker had to be put down.

Aune says her family is "devastated".
