North Dakota senators say that the FAA's UAS Center has received a big grant

(Washington, DC)  --  North Dakota senators Kevin Cramer and John Hoeven say 14 million dollars has been secured for the FAA's Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Center of Excellence.

The UAS Center is co-led by the University of North Dakota.  The bill also appropriates six million dollars in research grants for projects at test sites including in Grand Forks.

The bill now moves to the House and if it passes there it will be sent to the president for his consideration.
