Minnesota teen flown to hospital after apparent hunting accident

(Nelson, MN) -- A Minnesota teen was flown to a hospital after authorities say he was involved in a hunting accident.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office says a teenager shot himself in the leg while hunting near a property on County Road 74 in Nelson. The teen was treated at the scene, and eventually flown via Life Link to a nearby hospital. Authorities say the injury does not appear to be life-threatening.

The incident is under investigation.
