Former President Trump has 42-point lead in North Dakota over other GOP Presidential Candidates

(Bismarck, ND) -- Polling data shows Former President Donald Trump is leading other GOP presidential candidates by 42% in North Dakota.

The data comes from the North Dakota News Cooperative, which shows 54% of surveyed Republicans in the state would vote for Trump. Other candidates show Florida Governor Ron DeSantis at 14%, North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum at 12% and Former South Carolina Governor and Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley at 10%.

Speaking to North Dakotan Democratic voters, 74% support the incumbent, President Joe Biden, with 11% of Democrats not decided on any particular candidate.

Independents in the state also largely support Trump at 32%, compared to Burgum's 14%. Among independents, President Joe Biden seeing 19% support.
