(Jamestown, ND) -- Authorities have located Jamestown area sex offender Anthony Rolland, whose GPS monitoring bracelet died earlier this month.

Because the bracelet ran out of charge, Jamestown Parole and Probation officials were unable to monitor Rolland, prompting a search. He was convicted in two gross sexual imposition cases in the early 2000's, both of which involved children.

Law enforcement officials announced Wednesday that Rolland had been found, and he was placed into custody at the Stutsman County Jail in Jamestown.
