(Bismarck, ND) — The North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources says the state has reached a record-high number of oil and natural gas producing wells.
The numbers posted for September show 18-thousand-538 wells were producing statewide which is an all-time high.
There were 142 fewer wells producing oil and natural gas in August.
