Identity of passenger in fatal Berthold crash released

(Berthold, ND) -- The North Dakota Highway Patrol is identifying the man who died after a fatal crash in Berthold Saturday night.

Authorities say the driver, 29-year-old Alexander Swarm, was traveling at a high-rate of speed, causing the vehicle to veer off the road and crash into a tree. The passenger, 26-year-old Logan Hill from the Minot Air Force Base, died of his injuries. Swarm is charged with driving under the influence.

Swarm was also hurt in the crash, but the extent of his injuries is unknown.
