(Grand Forks, ND) --  A man accused of going on a tire-slashing spree in Grand Forks is facing additional charges for a series of burglaries.

Before 31-year-old Matthew Morris allegedly slashed numerous tires in a Grand Forks neighborhood last month, police say he went on a burglary spree in Lakota back in April. He's accused of burglarizing six businesses in town, and police say DNA evidence links him to the crimes.

Morris is charged with burglary with a weapon and criminal mischief in the Lakota burglaries, and his bond has been revoked in those cases due to the charges associated with the Grand Forks tire slashing spree.
