North Dakota duck hunting season ending statewide - high plains unit open December 9th through 31st

(Bismarck, ND)  --  North Dakota Game and Fish says the duck season is ending statewide on December 3rd.  

But officials say duck hunting in the high plains unit will be open from December 9th through December 31st.  

The season to hunt Canada geese also closes in December.  

Fall turkey, archery deer and grouse, pheasant and partridge hunting seasons all end on January 7th.  

The late mountain lion season is open now through March or until the harvest limit is reached.
