North Dakota virus season ramps up

(Fargo, ND) -- Respiratory virus cases are ramping up in North Dakota as the holiday season is underway.  

Sanford Infectious Disease experts say the period between Thanksgiving and Christmas increases the chance for virus transmission.  

Flu cases in adults and RSV infections in children are rising across the region.  

Meanwhile, COVID-19 numbers are remaining steady.  

Officials are encouraging those who can to get vaccinated.
