UND update: President Armacost highlights positives including campus improvements and surging enrollment

(Fargo, ND) -- The president of UND says there is a lot of activity happening on campus right now.

"You talk about the physical structures that are changing.  We built a new college of business, the Nistler College, an amazing new building. It took the place of one of our older, aging buildings. Then we're renovating one of the mainstays of the campus, it's called Merrifield Hall, said Andrew Armacost.

Armacost also says three winter commencement ceremonies take place next week, with 900 students eligible to graduate.

He also says enrollment for the fall semester climbed above 14 thousand students for the first time since 2017.

Armacost provided an update on the university while appearing on The Flag's "What's on Your Mind".
