(St. Paul, MN) -- The Minnesota Department of Health Office of Medical Cannabis is warning users of certain products with a listed potency that is above legal limits.

The limit placed on products sold across the state is 50 mg per package, with 5 mg each serving. The Department of Health found illegal, high-dose derived products in nearly 40% of establishments they visited. Officials say if the items are found, they will be destroyed. Retailers could also be fined up to $10,000 if products with illegal dosages are sold in their stores.
