(Bismarck, ND) -- U.S. and North Dakota flags are flying at half-staff at all government buildings across the state.
Governor Doug Burgum directed agencies to lower the flag today in memory of retired Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor.
O'Connor was the first woman to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court.
She died on December 1st at the age of 93.
