(St. Paul, MN) -- Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison is banning a Florida-based organization from soliciting donations in the state.

Ellison announced his office filed an assurance of discontinuance against Kids Wish Network. The ban is in effect for five years. Kids Wish Network claims donated money goes toward granting wishes for seriously ill children. However, several reports say the organization is one of the worst charities in the country.

The Kids Wish Network is accused of giving a very small percentage toward granting wishes.
