(Fargo, ND) -- The North Dakota Highway Patrol says travel conditions outside the F-M metro is poor at best in some places.

Highway Patrol Captain Brian Niewind spoke to listeners on The Need to Know Morning Show Tuesday about the slick roads. He says all roads across the area are wet at the very least, and places where temperatures are below freezing are building up layers of ice. Niewind encourages everyone traveling today to use caution.

Captain Brian Niewind says, luckily, there have been no accidents in Cass County as of the morning of December 26th, but there have been ones reported in Stutsman and Trail Counties.
