(Pierre, SD) -- South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem is kicking off the 2024 legislative session with an Executive Reorganization Order.
She hopes to streamline the state government by creating the Bureau of Human Resources and Administration. Noem says, "Cutting unnecessary red tape makes state government more accessible for the people of South Dakota."
She says, "By combining two bureaus, we are streamlining procedures and prioritizing the core functions of state government."
