Minnesota woman sentenced after arrest found 2,500 fentanyl pills in Grand Forks

(Grand Forks, ND) -- A Minnesota woman has been sentenced to 20 years in prison as part of a plea agreement for trafficking in fentanyl.  

Diana Nason had ten years of her sentence suspended and will serve ten years. She and her girlfriend Mary Fedick were arrested during a traffic stop in September. Police found over 2,500 fentanyl pills that the pair said they were on their way to sell in Grand Forks.  

Fedick has a court date next month.
