North Dakota task force works to prevent child sex crimes

(Fargo, ND) -- A statewide organization is expanding its efforts to prevent child sex crimes.

The North Dakota Child Sex Abuse Prevention Task Force recently published a guide for caregivers on how to talk to children.

It provides resources on topics, including how to spot red flags, creating safe environments, and how to report sexual abuse.

State lawmakers created the task force in 2017 and later passed more bills to allow officials to continue their initiatives through this year.
