(Bismarck, ND) -- A 15-year-old girl and her father are scheduled to appear in the Burleigh County Courthouse to testify before a North Dakota State judge about the state's ban on gender reassignment procedures for residents under the age of 18.
Pamela and Peter Roe and Pamela's physician Doctor Luis Casas will be testifying today against the ban.
They hope their testimony will help in obtaining a preliminary injunction against the state's ban.
Backers say the ban protects children against treatments and operations that might be irreversible.
