(Bismarck, ND) -- It has been over twenty years but rodeo is returning to Bismarck State College.
BSC had a rodeo club from 1971 to 2001 and the school says this week it has added rodeo as a new sport to its athletic program.
Beginning this Fall Bismarck State will compete in the Great Plains Region of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association.
The school will field a men's and women's team with competition in both the Fall and Spring.
Rodeo veteran Jon Peek will oversee the program.
