(St. Paul, MN) -- Conversations surrounding legalizing sports betting are taking place in Minnesota again as the 2024 legislative session gets closer.
The bill, written by Senator Matt Klein in 2023, is currently stalled in the Senate Finance Committee. Klein says the bill is a priority of the caucus, the legislature, and the people of Minnesota.
Democrats say there is a chance it could pass if proper protections for gamblers are put in place.
