Former Acting ICE Director on northern border: "extreme vulnerability"

(Fargo, ND) -- The former Acting Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is offering a disturbing assessment regarding illegal immigration at the northern border.

"Illegal entries at the northern border are up over 600 percent, some sections over 800 percent. You have to remember, GAO did an audit after 9/11 and they said way back then, the terrorists crossing the northern border is ten times more likely than terrorists crossing the southern border," said Tom Homan.

Homan says the northern border "has very few agents" assigned to the region and says "half of them have been assigned down south".

Homan says northern border ICE agents are "sitting at a desk" processing southern border apprehensions virtually.

Homan says the northern border is at "extreme vulnerability".
