(Mandan, ND) -- A change of venue is ordered in the trial of a Minot man accused of killing his former roommate in late 2020.

Court officials say District Judge Stacy Louser issued the order yesterday on behalf of the suspect, 31-year-old Shawnee Krall, after determining that a "substantial" number of jurors were too familiar with the case via multiple news reports and social-media posts.  Krall reportedly will now stand trial in November for his alleged role in the death of 29-year-old Alice Queirolo.

Jury selection is set to begin November 1st in Mandan, where the trial will be held.
