(Pelican Rapids, MN) -- A Pelican Rapids home was destroyed and two people are hospitalized after a house fire.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office says they responded to the fire just before noon on Thursday. A caller reported a person was still inside the home, but was rescued by three Good Samaritans before authorities arrived. Both occupants, Dennis Campbell (74m, Pelican Rapids) and Rebecca Campbell (58f, Pelican Rapids) were able to escape safely, but did suffer from what is believed to be smoke inhalation by authorities.
Investigators believe the fire is not suspicious. The house was considered a total loss.
