(Fargo, ND) -- North Dakota's Democratic NPL candidate running for U.S. Senate firmly backs U.S. financial and material support for Ukraine in its war with Russia.
"We need to say that supporting Ukraine puts America first. Russia is counting on America losing interest here. If we fail to support Ukraine, Putin wins," said Katrina Christiansen.
Christiansen says if Russia wins, then that's also a win for China, Iran, and North Korea.
The candidate says she doesn't understand why U.S. support for Ukraine has become a divisive issue.
She made the comments while appearing on WDAY Mid Day.
