(Fargo, ND) -- Fargo Police are asking drivers in the metro to be cautious driving throughout the morning. This is due to rain that fell Thursday and turned into snow overnight, leading to slick roadways.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation says road conditions on I-29 north of Fargo are also icy, with most of the Northern portion of the state seeing ice covered roads.
