Jason Ravnsborg, the impeached former attorney general of South Dakota, is back in the courtroom.

Ravnsborg appeared before the South Dakota Supreme Court Wednesday for a disciplinary hearing deciding his license to practice law. It stems from Ravnsborg's conduct as Attorney General after his crash that killed a pedestrian in 2020. He was later impeached and removed from office. The South Dakota Bar Association is recommending suspending Ravnsborg's law license for 26 months.

The punishment would be retroactive, meaning he can resume practicing law in August.
