Senator Kevin Cramer co-sponsors "Kids Online Safety Act"

(Washington, DC)  --  The Kids Online Safety Act has secured the 60 votes needed to pass the U.S. Senate.

The bill was co-sponsored by North Dakota Senator Kevin Cramer along with Tennessee Republican Marsha Blackburn and Connecticut Democrat Richard Blumenthal.

Cramer says the bill provides kids and parents with better tools to protect themselves from abuse online.

It also looks to hold Big Tech accountable and provide transparency into block box algorithms.
