Senator's staff members to meet in Barnesville to discuss rural EMS challenges

(Barnesville, MN) -- Members of U.S. Senator Tina Smith's staff will be meeting with leaders in Barnesville to discuss rural EMS challenges.

This includes fist responders and ambulance services. The meeting is occurring on Tuesday, February 20th at 10:30 a.m. in the city of Barnesville.

The meeting coincides with Sen. Smith signing onto the Emergency Medical Reimbursement for On-scene and Support (EMS ROCS) act, which provide Medicare reimbursement for EMS officials, among other benefits.
