Jamestown man arrested for DUI after crash south of Cooperstown

(Cooperstown, ND) -- Two Jamestown residents are injured and one is facing charges after a crash south of Cooperstown.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the 36-year-old Jamestown man was traveling southbound on Highway 1 when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a power pole. Both the Jamestown man and a 41-year-old Jamestown woman were injured and transferred to the Cooperstown Medical center for treatment.

The Jamestown man was arrested for DUI, and faces citations of care required and open container of alcohol. The crash remains under investigation.
