Burnsville officials warn of scammers after deadly officer-involved shooting

(Burnsville, MN)  --  Burnsville officials are alerting residents of scammers who are taking advantage of the deadly shooting of two police officers and a paramedic.  

A city social media post is warning people to be cautious of donating to fundraisers to help the victims of the crime.  

Official donation sites are expected to be posted online later this week.  

Early yesterday, Officers Paul Elmstrand and Matthew Ruge, and firefighter paramedic Adam Finseth were gunned down while responding to a domestic abuse call at a residence in Burnsville.  

The suspect is also dead.
