(Minot, ND) -- The Minot Public School Board is closing two elementary schools.
A six-million-dollar budget shortfall is forcing the closures of Bell and McKinley elementary schools.
The board voted 3--2 yesterday to approve the closures.
Bell students will attend John Hoeven Elementary while plans including busing for McKinley students are still being finalized.
