Bismarck Elementary teacher resigns amid accusations of sharing images of child sex acts

(Bismarck, ND) -- A preliminary hearing for a now-former Bismarck public-school teacher accused of exposing young students to child pornography is set for April 1st.  

Court officials say 26-year-old John Vetter has resigned from Lincoln Elementary School amid charges he used a messaging app to share pictures and videos showing children engaging in sexual acts. Last night, local school board officials accepted Vetter's resignation, which went into effect immediately. 

A preliminary hearing in the case is set for April 1st.
