Uncommitted vote against President Biden exceeds goal in Minnesota's Democratic Primary

(St. Paul, MN)  --  An effort aimed at promoting the uncommitted vote in the Minnesota Democratic primary surpassed its goal of five thousand votes.

There were close to 46 thousand votes.

Liberal Minnesotans and members of the Muslim community urged voters to check uncommitted on the ballot in protest of President Biden not seeking a cease-fire in Gaza.

The campaign is picking up from a similar push in Michigan, which earned 100 thousand uncommitted votes in the state's primary last week.
