Minnesota School Resource Officer bill advances through Senate, sent to state house

(St. Paul, MN) -- A new bill for school resource officers in Minnesota would allow the same reasonable force rules followed outside of schools to be followed inside schools.

The Minnesota Senate passed the bill, adding an amendment about the destruction of school property.

The legislation now goes back to the House.
