(WDAY Radio) -- An Edina man has been cleared in the hit-and-run death of a doctor who was walking her dogs.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the 42-year-old man is no longer a suspect. He had admitted he was driving in the area and may have had the Tesla on autopilot, but investigators found no evidence he hit anyone during that time. 52-year-old Cathy Donovan was walking her dogs just south of Grand Casino Mille Lacs when she was hit and killed last November.

Authorities are still trying to locate a suspect driver and vehicle that hit her.
