(Fargo, ND) -- A Winter Storm Watch is in effect across central and southern North Dakota.
Snow fell yesterday in many parts of the state and agriculture officials hope the moisture helps offset the abnormally dry conditions in 64-percent of the state.
Severe drought conditions are reported in five far northeastern counties with parts of 20 other counties reporting moderate drought.
