(St. Paul, MN) -- It's been a rough flu season in Minnesota, with over 3,600 hospitalizations and 128 deaths from the flu so far.

The Minnesota Department of Health reports more than half of those cases are in the Twin Cities metro. A vast majority of the hospitalizations are for people ages 65 and older, with the median age for a hospitalized person being 63. Influenza A is the dominant strain this year.
