(Fargo, ND) -- Congressman Kelly Armstrong says he is taking steps aimed at drawing attention to the surging number of illegal immigrants entering the U.S. at the northern border.
"We're working really hard to get a judiciary immigration hearing here on the northern border. We're hopeful we're going to have, Chairman Jim Jordan has been really good at doing field hearings and we've had this in the works for 4 or 5 months now to try to get a northern border hearing up here so the people in D.C. can actually here about what is going on here," said Armstrong.
Armstrong says he has brought up security along the northern border in every hearing on border security in which he has already taken part.
He made the comments while appearing on The Flag's "What's on Your Mind".
