(Bismarck, ND) -- A group of North Dakotans has filed a ballot measure petition to legalize recreational marijuana in the state.
The measure, sponsored by New Economic Frontier, aims to lessen the burden on North Dakota's criminal justice system and promote economic growth.
Previous efforts to legalize recreational marijuana in North Dakota failed in 2018 and 2022.
