(Wing, ND) -- Authorities are sharing more information after a vehicle struck a construction flagger in Burleigh County on Friday.
The crash happened on state Highway 14 near Wing, where 71-year-old James Wipf was standing next to his truck and holding a sign to slow vehicles in a construction zone. Officials say an 81-year-old man driving a pickup truck crashed into the truck parked on the roadside, which slammed into Wipf during the impact.
He was transported to a hospital in Bismarck to be treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
