(Fargo, ND) -- Minnesota republican Joe Fraser is talking about why he is running for the senate seat currently held by democrat Amy Klobuchar.
"I'm pretty upset about what I see is an absence of leadership coming out of Amy Klobuchar in the Senate. We need an active voice to stand up against any machine whether it's democrat or republican. We need somebody to stand up and be a champion of the people instead of a rubber stamp to a central committee," said Fraser.
The political newcomer is a retired naval officer. He currently serves as executive director for a Twin Cities area financial institution.
He appeared on The Flag's "What's on Your Mind".
