(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Minneapolis City Council is considering a bid to bring the Sundance Film Festival to Minnesota.
Sundance officials announced earlier this month that they would accept proposals for a new location for the festival beginning in 2027.
Bids must be turned in by next Wednesday.
The council will vote on the idea later today.
